There is no Xsession error. And this bug does reproduce in a brand new
guest account as well.

Empathy loses all styling after upgrade from
Oh, nice tip. That worked, thanks! Still though, one shouldn't have to
do that. Something is clearly getting trashed in the theme settings upon
upgrade to 11.10.

Nope, the new version still does not allow an ASCII (armored) encrypted
file as an option. It always encrypts to a binary file.

Public bug reported:
In 11.10, I can no longer bring up the dash, type "term" and tab to
'Terminal' and hit enter. In 11.04 this was possible. It seems like now
I have to type the partial name, then hit down arrow twice, which is not
intuitive.

1) libnotify popups appear in the upper right corner of the 2nd monitor, way
out of my area of visual focus.
2) Some apps (Libre Office) pop up their splash screen in a weird spot on the
1st monitor t

True, but what about the second or third results? Tabbing is an
intuitive action one would expect to be able to skip to other items,
however it does not work. Arrow keys work but it takes two arrow downs
to get to the results for some reason. I vote for tabs, though.. easier
reach than arrow keys.
Pardon my ignorant question, but: do people working on the Linux kernel
test it on several different machines (including the highly popular Asus
EEE PC) before releasing it into production? I'm just surprised a
critical bug such as this made it into the Ubuntu & Mint release ISOs.
