I have the same problem. When I am using the built in camera on my Acer
Aspire 5720Z. At seemingly random time all of a sudden the video
display will become corrupt and messages like this will appear in
/var/log/syslog:

Running from the command line the only output I get is:

The man page for cal states that the following arguments work:
-J Display Julian Calendar, if combined with the -e option, display date
of easter according to the Julian Calendar.

Ok, I've looked at the source code, and apparently that was the expected
behavior of the application. When called cal certain arguments are
allowed, when called ncal other arguments are allowed.
So I've altered the man page to reflect this, and have attached the
patch file. Hope it's helpful.

your /boot/grub/menu.lst file, and then reboot.

This is an important issue. It make applications less portable, and
makes it more difficult to get applications running on a Linux server.
For example, I have a fairly large Perl application that I would like to
port from Macintosh OS X to Ubuntu Server. Each script begins with:

If you generate non-ambiguous passwords with pwgen by passing it the -B
argument capital letter Os is not prevented. For example this:
$ pwgen -B 8 1
Ies7Onga
should never happen, but it does. (I didn't make up that output I
copied it from konso
