After updating to Edgy, I realised I was not booting onto the right
partition, which lead to an unbootable system, until I noticed that
/etc/fstab had the same UUID for 2 different partitions. The solution
I've adopted so far is to remove the UUIDs and go back to the good ole

I can reproduce this bug on Edgy, too.
Deskbar crashes relatively often when entering the GNOME session. The
only visible feedback about the crash is the bug reporter telling me
that the deskbar applet has crashed. Other than that, the applet works
as expected even after a crash.

/etc/network/interfaces with the right settings for my WLAN, and then

To me it happened on Edgy after upgrading from Dapper.
On both the Dapper and Edgy LiveCDs the savage driver did not even get
loaded and the vesa driver was used.
On Dapper that was ok, but on Edgy the vesa driver has become so
unbearably slow that it is not possible to work with it.

For my part, this bug was fixed when the other one I was mentioning on
my last post was fixed.
In my case I've got:
/media/ubuntu/breezy -> ext3 partition
/media/debian/etch -> ext3 partition
/media/windows/C -> vfat partition with label WINXP
/media/windows/D -> vfat partition
Since this bug applies to not only resolutions of 1280x768, could the

Hello,
When upgrading from libvirt 1.3.1 (in Xenial) to libvirt 3.6.0 (in
Bionic), virtlogd is not restarted on upgrade. It seems libvirt is
unable to work with an old virtlogd. If not restarted, any spawned VM
will just hang the whole libvirtd process because libvirt is not
Looking at postinst, I see virtlogd is reloaded. I have checked that
reload trigger a reexec (like expected). Therefore, I don't know why
this is not enough. I should investigate more on this.

Would it be possible to update HAProxy to 1.8.7, despite the freeze?
This is a stable update and it fixes some important bugs. In Debian, we
kept previous releases in experimental for Ubuntu to not use them.
