The above apport information was generated when I manually set the
settings to the Analog Speakers port after the speakers have been
disabled from inserting the headphone.

Also note that I created new sinks later to merge the Speaker output and
Microphone input. The problem already occurred before this, with default
settings from a fresh install of Oneiric.

Took me a long time but finally got to testing this.
In the v3.3-precise kernel the native resolution IS detected in System Settings
> Displays, but I cannot apply any changes from there.
Using `xrandr --auto --output DP1 --mode 1920x1080 --right-of LVDS1`
Does work however.
