This issue needs attention. I've used Ubuntu Live CDs since 6.10, and
this is the first time it boots into an error. For me, it won't stop me
from using Ubuntu, but others might be more picky. I'll look into this,

My guess is that something delays DBus initialization (something related
to the Live CD), and it's not ready to talk to gdu-notification-daemon
when it wants to. The error message in gdu_pool_new() (gdu-pool.c) is
the first warning that something will not be OK (you can see this in the

about once a day i get disconnected from a WPA wireless. then the gui
comes up asking for the password but fails to connect.
my workaround is to reload the wireless driver:

Yes, I see this problem with lot of machines. I disabled pulseaudio.
I try downgrade libportaudio package, see my letter with ubuntu

default icon command now because I think two or free veeks not works the

If I use fixed CPU speed, there is no problem at all! The whole NB freezes at

Firefox not accessible to Orca if run from keyboard shortcut

Bill, now I updated my system. In upgrades, have at-spi and py-atspi
upgrades. After I installed all updates, Firefox is accessible now again
when I launching Firefox with shortcut.
Please look this, if you confirming this, this bug is fixed.

Hardware switch does'nt work my Toshiba Satellite Pro L300 notebook.

Now, sending you the disabled wify dmesg file and disabled rfkill state
file. Now, my notebook the hardware switch is turned off.
Interesting, but rfkill state file is does'nt changed, only contains a 2
number.

We tested this modifyed table files with Jaunty.
If possible, please add this modifyed braille table files with brltty package.
This modifications not disturb another braille tables.
