If I use fixed CPU speed, there is no problem at all! The whole NB freezes at the first change of CPU speed! It does not matter if I set it automatic (like ondemand, or powersave profile) or set the clock by hand. Unfortunately on a NB, it is very good to have the standby feature, and also the CPU clock automation.
