There is a solution to get stereo working (at least on 6920G i can confirm this
works) here:

Though, setting the model to acer-aspire seems unnecessary, model=acer works
just as well.
You can then turn on/off the "tuba" by turning on
lease, and the problem not solved with Alpha4
release version.

Because gnome-orca newest upstream release contains lot of bugfixes.
For example with future 2.24.3 release, the Openoffice.org spreadsheet cell
coordinate spokening works with all locales, in oldest 2.24 releases this not
working if not english language used.

Tryed blanking the problem disc with Windows Vista. Correct work with

I confirm this problem with clean Installed Jaunty Beta
(vmlinuz-2.6.28-11-generic kernel).
I have got a similar Toshiba Satellite L300 notebook.

With clean Jaunty beta install this bug was not present my machine, all
updates installed correct.
I think this bug was fixed.

I just freshly installed Jaunty on my laptop. In first everything worked fine.
After a reboot I could not, and still can't use my wifi.
The wpa_supplicant log says:

Well, apt-get source soundconverter gives me 1.3.2-0ubuntu1. I was not
aware, that a newer version is already out. If so, then it was a waste
of time.
