The 14-generic kernel seems to work also on mi eeepc 1000 hd, i.e. tiling is
enabled and performance is better.
One strange thing I am investigating: supertux2 is too slow unless run by root.

Regarding the supertux2 problem, I think the permissions are ok (see
below), as my user is in the group video and the system sets the ACL
correctly. Note that the device is /dev/dri/card0 though (not video0).

displayed, an empty line is displayed instead.
Although not visible, the empty line is selectable with the cursor keys +
