Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-osd
The gnome-osd-properties is not in the System/Preferences menu in
Karmic.
The corresponding .desktop entry is installed in the directory
/usr/share/control-center-2.0/capplets/
which btw contains only this file.
Adding a link form this file to /usr/share/applications (+ update-menus)
fixes the problem.
