the -dev packages and the ideal case would (imo) be, that I can either
choose stripped or unstripped versions of "binaries". I don't really

...however, the bug seems to have vanished after changing AccelMethod
from EXA to XAA (as I've read elsewhere) however, the
compositing is too slow afterwards and also firefox webpage scrolling
seems to be much slower in composite mode.. gonna fill bug to ati guys

the bug appears (afaik) when one uses too many live bookmarks (10+) -
firefox hangs when it's trying to update them.. I moved bookmarks to
akgregator instead - no more hangs since then :-) Should be fixed in
firefox 3.1 (or later)

libfprint and seems to work (see the mentioned web for recent patches
etc.) - I was able to compile and use the examples provided with
libfprint (and the fingerprints matched when expected).
