player on one monitor and fullscreen it. But as soon as the video window
loses focus (because you clicked some window on the other monitor) the
gnome-panel appears above the video player. It happens with all
fullscreen windows
The way this is implemented in human theme is really confusing. The same
class is used for Button and MenuItem widgets. This doesn't work because
MenuItems are rendered without a background. It is possible to style
them with different classes, then you can do whatever you want.

called "Independent HP". It can be on or off. I don't know what it

"Independent HP" means independent headphones.
When the main output is getting muted, the headphone output is grey in
alsamixer. I assume this means that the card did not detect headphones
connected to the socket. Before the bug happens, the headphone output is
not grey.
BTW, if it was not obvious, I do not have headphones connected...

I ran into this today. The reason why /etc/modprobe.d/ gets ignored is
because usbhid is loaded from the initramfs before the rootfs is
mounted. You must rebuild the initramfs to include your modified options
like this:
sudo update-initramfs -k all -u
Installing a kernel update will also do this
same result here with 190.53 and rc6

~/.local/share/applications/wine/Programs/Spotify.desktop
These show up in the gnome menu, but if you try to edit them using the
menu editor, it resaves them as:

wine is at fault for making the desktop files wrong in the first place,
the actual issue of not being able to edit shortcuts is caused by
inconsistency between these two programs. gnome-main-menu prefers to

1. Click on the bluetooth icon in the status bar.
2. Click on the enabled slider to disable bluetooth.
3. Suspend the machine.
4. Close the lid.

looks to me like a missing dependency in the "meld" package.

Am suffering from the same bug on a Thinkpad T470s with an Intel 8265
wifi chip running Ubuntu 17.10, Linux kernel 4.13.0-37-generic, and
iwlwifi 31.560484.0. There are multiple reports like the errors below in
kern.log. After a while, the machine completely locks up. Interestingly,

On the current daily ISO this now hangs for 50 seconds instead of 75,
and the blueman/bluetooth messages are completely gone from xsession-
errors.
