I didn't mention in my original report that I am using WEP128 encryption. I ran some tests: 100mb of zeros transfered OK. 100mb of ones transfered OK. With a 9mb text file, approximately 300 consecutive characters were overwritten by an equal number of consecutive characters from slightly later in the file. It took 4 tries before that happened.
