I didn't mention in my original report that I am using WEP128
encryption.

I ran some tests: 100mb of zeros transfered OK. 100mb of ones transfered
OK. With a 9mb text file, approximately 300 consecutive characters were
overwritten by an equal number of consecutive characters from slightly
later in the file. It took 4 tries before that happened.

This suggests a race with a buffer being overwritten before userspace
has a chance to process it.
