Meanwhile, I made some tests and found:
- with kernel 2.6.31.11 - modem is detected
- with kernel 2.6.31-13 - modem NOT detected
- the latest kernel 2.6.31-14 - modem NOT detected
Using kernel 2.6.31.11 and everything seems OK.
