After the 'twitpocolypse' the twitter plugin (an extremely popular and
visible plugin) for GNOME Do is entirely broken. This is dude to integer
overflow in twitter post ids, and has a simple fix of using a long
instead of an int for the post id.

Binary package hint: linux-restricted-modules-2.6.20-16-generic
After most recent kernel upgrade restricted modules were not downloaded as a
dependency for the new kernel resulting in broken graphics.
Make/Model: HP dv5139us
CPU: AMD Turion64
RAM: 2gb DDR333
GPU: ATI x200m

Actually, restricted modules /were/ downloaded but new kernel does not
recognize that my hardware needs them. 2.6.20-15-generic kernel /does/
realize that the ati x200m chipset uses fglrx drivers for display.

Alpha 6 livecd, gnome fails to load and x restarts indefinitely. When I try to
log in as ubuntu user, It shows me the desktop, and then X restarts and brings
uid=1000(alex) gid=1000(alex)
groups=106(fuse),113(admin),124(sambashare),1000(alex)
id hal says "no such user"
uid=110(haldaemon) gid=122(haldaemon) groups=122(haldaemon)

On Gutsy tribe 1, enabling restricted drivers fails for ATI fglrx driver.
Package is downloaded but the module never gets loaded. After 1 attempted, the
driver shows up as not in use but cannot be enabled, clicking enable results in
just a grayed out restricted drivers app
@spoilerhead: "beryl-xgl was removed from the package at the request of
the MOTU... I'll see if I can get it reinstated for a future release (as
I understand it, the problem was that it statically links against it's
own version of Mesa - linking against the version of mesa provided in
Ubuntu could
same here using WPA. If keyring is denied then it works fine but when NM
interacts with the gnome-keyring there is a segfault.

+1 confirmed. Hangs when gksudo is used. if sudo is used the install
goes just fine. Gutsy tribe2 i386 livecd on HP Pavillion dv5139us
Turion64 system, 2gb ram.
