I was typing a phone number pretty quickly into the messaging app.
Part way through one of the numbers (7) stuck down, it didn't repeat, but the
pop up which shows the key you pressed stuck up. See screenshot.
I carried on typing and other keys didn't stick, and that key didn
hud-service is eating up RAM on my laptop after being up for 4 days..

When I saw #40 was out I wanted to do an OTA update, so I went to System
Settings -> Update and have it set to auto download on wifi, so it
started downloading. I left it alone.
When I returned the button had changed to over to install the
Rebooted the phone and now it's letting me update to #40.

Expect the link to open in a browser, it doesn't. Nothing happens.
Pictures which are on pic.twitter.com _do_ work though.

Sometimes over the last few days I've noticed that the shell will appear to
freeze.
Notably it's possible to "recover" by simply swiping in the launcher from the
left.
It looks like the shell froze at the point when the current window "drops" and
fades. No amount of tapping
It may be technically expected, but from a user point of view it's
pretty horrid to be dumped back at the top, many swipes away from where
you started.

I opened notes app and can type a note in there with the OSK, but
switching back to Twitter & FB webapps, the OSK never comes up.

No, I was just playing with the device over the weekend when this
happened. I'd been playing with swiping up and down in the shell a lot,
and a lot of swiping right and left. I also had a unity crash when
running x-type (which doesn't crash now) just before the problem in this
bug report.

Yeah, this is happening on Mako #28 for me. I sometimes get no
notifications for test messages:-

Just update mako to #37 (and also when I updated to #36) the wifi was
disabled on first boot. It works after flipping the wifi switch in the
network indicator, but by default it's off (it should be on IMO).
