yes, annoying that you can't drag to unmaximise a window that is
maximised on one monitor because you have to click in it first to give
it focus before dragging it.

for oneiric off screen to the right, and can't get it back at all, even
uninstalling and reinstalling onboard the window opens off screen to the
right.

I wonder if it would be possible to specify a particular workspace as
not having the launcher and panel, so you could launch your game thing
over there and not have the launcher pop up over it, or ctrl+alt+cursors
to a different workspace (perhaps one with a fullscreen gedit) and hit
the super key
