I know Ubuntu uses sudo but no luck as "sudo su" doesnt function
properly either, same problem authentication failure.
I normally use just su so not having that ability is a problem aswell.

I have an up to date Ibex system and this bug is still present, I have
tried the "Right click -> Open with -> custom command -> nautilus" fix
but no luck.
The places menu just keeps on loading Brassero and trying to burn a disc
everytime I click a folder. Any other workarounds known of also
ok sorry I got it working now had to remove a line from my
.local/share/applications/mimeapps.list

alternate PowerPC CD for upgrading to feisty. I put it in my CD drive,
ran "sudo sh /cdrom/cdromupgrade" in a terminal, said no, when it asked

On shorewall safe-restart, towards the end of output I get:

I experienced a similar bug a while back on Hardy. It stopped once I
upgraded to Intrepid. The workaround for a wrong resolution is not to
reboot the machine but hit CTRL+ALT+Backspace to restart the display
manager - only takes a second or two, and fixed it every time.

is fixed. It is insecure and I cannot see why many would use it without
SSL. With SSL it's great, but if we have to repackage ourselves each

/usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/pc file provided didn't work.
I have just tested the file that Sergey attached to the upstream and it
works perfectly.

I've just installed Karmic Alpha 5 under VirtualBox 3.0.4: it is even
more broken.
It recognises left Windows key + R as "Alt + R" ("Alt + R" comes up as

I have confirmed that the latest Cosmic development release with this
package version 0.6.1-1 appears to work correctly now. Was able to sign
in to Docker fine on a headless EC2 server over SSH.

Having just spent several days trying to get to the root cause of this
id-mapping issue I am strongly inclined to agree with Ancoron regarding the
forced usage of UID & GID with AUTH_SYS.
I have exactly the issue he describes. This is a small home setup and I do not

This bug started affecting me a few weeks ago. It seems to happen
whenever a new kernel version is pushed out.
This time, what Ben did in #75 -- downgrading grub to
