On a dell insperon 17 the Fn+F2 should turn wifi on/off - it does not.
Addtionally, dissabling bluetooth turns off Wifi and you cannot recover using
the GUI.
This recipy get's wiFi back on, although I just borrowed it from other users

Hi Chris. Thanks for your thorough response and suggestions. Unfortunately the
laptop stopped responding so often that I gave up using Ubuntu on my personal
laptop and switched to the native OS, after being an avid Ubuntu user since
5.04. I did install 12.04 and still boot to it once in a while,
I agree and I couldn't have said it better myself! This needs to be an
option right next to Auto-hide in the Appearance->Behaviour settings
area.

Using Linux mint 17 xfce based on ubuntu 14.04
This bug appeared on my system after attempting to fix a suspend session.
Normally screensaver can be unlocked with a password but somehow my system
froze.
Decided to view help
Pressed Ctrl +Alt+ F1
Then type in the username and password
Then typ
launchbar but not being able to is a small
price to pay for having such high quality in a foss os.
I hereby retract my former complaints.

For me it's actually not an «usability problem» but is a stop-bug, which
prevents the usage of Ubuntu at all.
The usage of USB-stick, flash-drive is daily task for me and I can't imagine

ticket has been opened this problem still persists. It' very hard to use
the OS when it can't properly handle such important thing as the work
with USB-drives.
There is no such issue with Fedora 21, which is also based on Nautilus
I just installed Ubuntu 15.04 RTM, and faced out with multiple problems
with the copying files from HDD to USB flash-drive.
1. Not all files copied! You can't be sure that all what you selected is really
copied.
2. You can delete folders in USB drive (Directory is not empty).
3. The copied files
After a couple of days trying to deal with this bug, I concluded that
this issue is a stop-bug for me. I can't continue using the OS, which is
unreliable with the executing such essential task as file management
especially when this bug is not being treated for the year. Hope to see

So, I install Elementary OS 0.2 Luna 64bit, and rtl8187b chipset works great,
on full speed, without any lag!
