Same for me. I use Gmail in French, and the icon doesn’t show the number of
unread messages and the messaging menu doesn't appear.
When I switch to English (US), it works fine.
N.B.: I have a Google Apps account in fact but this doesn't change anything,
because the webapp works when the language

Since Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric, I can't open xpi files with file-roller.
I have an error that the file is not recognized. One way around is to
rename the filename and change .xpi by .zip
I think this could be a mimetype issue, since it could be resolved
adding .xpi extension to

Because xpi are basically zip archives and some developers/translators use
file-roller to extract/modify files inside.
Also xpi files are not used only by Firefox, but by many Mozilla-based product

I had the same issue with same configuration.
I fixed it by adding libswt-mozilla-gtk-3659.so under
/usr/lib/xulrunner-addons/ after downloading it for 64 bit.
Then I had a second issue not finding libxpcom.so.
The issue was related to xulrunner verion. I have 2.0.

This bug affects my Geforce MX440. But I fear that this bug won't be fix
one day because the nvidia's guys don't care about our old graphics
cards :(

I also have this bug: each time I close Anki, I've got an error message telling
me that Anki crashed.
This is far from being critical (the application just run fine) but it is a bit

Hi all, I'm new here and never done this before but I've done the
necessary to use the proposed packages because this bug is really really
annoying, making some stuff unusable.
I'm at the last step, when I should just upgrade my packages from
proposed, but I'm freaking out because upgrading `mutte

Nobody seems to care but as I stated several times in this thread, for
some people (including me) upgrading these packages will remove some
other packages that apparently need the former ones. This is not an
option.
See the output of `sudo apt-get install mutter/jammy-proposed

@egmont-gmail For users on 22.04, would you suggest upgrading to 24.04 as well ?
I guess the right upgrade path would be to upgrade to 23.10 first and then to
24.04.
Is this something you would recommend or are there some important pitfalls to
know about beforehand ?
