I was able to successfully boot the Maverick RC alternate CD (both i386
and amd64) on my HP Compaq nx6325 laptop. This bug seems to be fixed for
me. Can other laptops' owners test them with Ubuntu 10.10 (Maverick
Meerkat)?

Alternate install CD (both x86, AMD64) not booting on HP NX6325, HP 651
No change for me using today's daily livecd (20101003 - after RC) - i386
works, amd64 doesn't. Using "Option" key doesn't help. (Macbook 2,1)

Ubuntu 13.10 fails to correctly suspend/resume my laptop (HP EliteBook 8470w)
when using the fglrx driver.
It worked fine on Ubuntu 12.10 (with fglrx).
After resuming my laptop from suspend, I'm getting a black screen and the

I'm running Ubuntu 12.10.
I want to upgrade my system to Ubuntu 13.04 and then to 13.10.
Both CLI "sudo do-release-upgrade" and the GUI system updater want to upgrade

The problem appears in standard installation and in Quantal LTS enablement pack

Here's a photo of this display error.
This graphics problem is gone after I restart the X server, but that defeats
the purpose of suspend/resume (keeping your apps running).
