I started the Kubuntu machine I recently upgraded without removing
kubuntu-settings-desktop on Sunday and it had the login screen "lockup"
described by others. I just typed in the password, despite there being no
flashing cursor, and it logged on but it wasn't ideal. T
6.12 now in Mainline. Now we need to verify the patch made it to

I had a file, /etc/profile.d/ZZZ-pulseaudio-k.sh, which was running
"pulseaudio -k" at system startup, which broke audio and seemed to

S3 suspend has been broken since macOS Sonoma, it has never been fixed,
but this workaround will make deep suspend work. Currently this

I meant the app would appear in the list if it was using the Nvidia GPU.

I don't know even why I have the `nvidia-smi` command or `sh -c
'/usr/bin/nvidia-settings --load-config-only'` initialization in the
user Application Startup if I don't have a NVidia card in this computer.
In Ubuntu 22.04 there isn't this application in the startup list.
