but the lxc people said it was related to systemd, not lxc.
The issue is: I have a container running under lxc/lxd. lxc stop of the
container does not work whereas if I execute "shutdown now" inside the

fairly recent situation, as I'm fairly sure I was able to change this
setting around version 2.4.18 + problem seems to have crept in around
version 2.4.23 (best guess).

I don't think systemd changed its shutdown signal as I have other 1604
based containers that stop as expected. To me it seems that systemd
wants to stop a process and hangs waiting for it (whereas shutdown now
does stop the system)

Bleachbit is an utility to delete unnecessary files from the system etc.
For a long time - I suppose, since Firefox update to the 48. version -

@Zygmunt, understood, users can't customise the location.
But surely the location could be a hidden directory?
Snaps are supposed to make Ubuntu easier for non-techie users, not
harder, and putting this data in a standard directory under $HOME does
not pass the grandmother test. If I put snaps on

issue persists with 16.04.2
I've also tested switching default hdd, and even switched to m.2 slot
and tested switching RAM with other machine
and finally, Windows 10 never crashed on the same machine.

isolate that acpi_osi parameter solves the shutdown issue from nouveau
"failed to adjust lnkctl speed"
update grub with:
