If I try and switch the luminosity setting of my laptop my CPU goes to
100% usage for 3-10 minutes, and the luminosity notification in unity

Here's another way to get around the problem that works via context
menus (right-click->open with, double click PDF, etc).

Ristretto works fine on bitmap-based files (png, jpeg etc.) but just
crashes upon opening SVG files.
To reproduce:
1. Right click on a file (in preferred file manager) > open with > ristretto
2. It crashes
OR
1. Launch Ristretto
2. File>Open... Select SVG file
3. It crashe

I hadn't realized that pulseaudio was no longer setuid, I'm just out of
date I suppose haha. If it's not setuid there's less of a need for such
strict rules, and using an abstraction may be ok.
But wouldn't it simply be enough to use: @{multiarch} ?

It also requires the setuid permission. I thought that it dropped its
privileges? Because it, apparently, needs quite a number of
capabilities, including setuid.

In the amd64 version of the package, the changelog is a plain file,
while in the i386 version, it is actually a symlink to
../libdrm2/changelog.Debian.gz (which is NOT contained in the package).
I presume the latter is an error.
This is why the packages won't install. Now removing the file prior t
(Sorry: The symlink is only there in the libdrm-* packages. In the base
libdrm2 package, the two changelog files actually match.)
