I have just started having this same problem on 10.04. The problem began
occurring after installing the ATI drivers with jockey. I have an AMD64.
I updated the policy kit, but the problem persists. So far I have only

The same problem here. My netbook is an Asus 1001HA.
If I use just one monitor (the netbook's display or another external
monitor), everything works perfectly. But if I use *both* netbook's
display and an external monitor, the computer turns unusable.

I merely came to complain about the generic desktop switcher icon; the
icon should be more reflective of what it does. As for whether or not it
should indicate which desktop is current, that kind of opens up a can of

I have 10.10 and my ubuntu doc say I have 11.04. I have updated to the
last version as of 2011-04-24 and still have the problem. I also have
proposed in my repository source. Therefore if I dont miss something,
the bug is not fixed.

When I try to record a video in Cheese Webcam Booth for Ubuntu, it
doesn't work. My picture shows up for a few seconds, then freezes. And
then it stops the video from being recorded automatically. It then takes
me to view the video which is normally 6 seconds long even though

I have just checked on my system, which is fully updated (and thus
running ubuntu-docs 10.10.5), and I have this problem again as well. I
would be inclined to think that perhaps the bug is back as of
10.10.5...except that Nicolas is saying he has it with 10.10.4ubuntu0.1.

(1) Could what Nicolas and I are experiencing be a different, related
bug, which has the same effect as this bug but which operates by a
different mechanism and only affects some users but not others, even
with the same ubuntu-docs p
I am getting this bug as well. When the bug happens the song skips about
a second ahead but continues playing without an issue. However after
awhile songs will just refuse to keep playing and I have to restart the
program.
I run a Pandora One account, and am using Ubuntu Natty Beta 2.

10-wacom.conf at /usr/lib/X11/xorg.conf.d on at least some systems.
