nvidia Proprietary Driver (Version 173) using "In

hope it can be pushed out as soon as possible after release. It makes
all the difference for a netbook.

you should ask egtk devs to add the special theme lines to use the overlay
scrollbars with the colors they want.
Currently the thumb can't be colorized, will be in the future

Apparently kded4 is stuck in some communication with NetworkManager.
When I call nm-tool it takes a very long time to complete its output.

During the installation, i select to install with encrypted home, but at the
reboot, differently from Ubuntu, Kubuntu don't require me the passphrase for
decrypt the home, only

Hi, Thank you for your responses. Yes, this problem occurred when I had
changed to an older kernel to fix the issue with the suspend/hibernate.
So I just reinstalled ubuntu and instead of installing the open nvidia
driver, I installed the graphics driver from nvidia website. This
solved the issue
I think you can probably make it unattended for the time being by
editing /etc/grub.d/00_header, commenting out the following lines with a
leading # sign on each line, and then running update-grub:
