I think this is a bug in xserver-xorg-video-intel since I saw this on 2
machines using the Intel i3-Clarkdale-CPU-integrated graphics. I
upgraded the driver package from xserver-xorg-video-intel
2:2.12.0-1ubuntu5.1 to xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.13.901-2ubuntu2.
This solves the problem for me.

I have 2.32.0-0ubuntu4 in Maverick but I still cannot get a working PDF.
After I have scanned as text and saved as PDF this is what I get:

Installing 0.12.5+noroms-0ubuntu7, I rebooted and ran my script for 37
runs (~14 hours) and received no Segmentation faults or other weird dpkg
errors. This is with the natty kernel.
While I find it odd that 0.12.5 with the natty kernel is ok, 0.13 with
the natty kernel is not, and either with the
Marking qemu-kvm task as Confirmed since it is repeatable.

The safest thing going forward would be to set the default of SATA link
power managment to false. Of course this prevents seeing problems and
further reports. As this is likely some problem which only happens on
certain controllers, certain drives or the combination of both it would
be nice to have

linewrapping changes in debian/changelog. Wrote up SRU report, now it's
waiting on the SRU team to accept it in maverick-proposed. I have no
windows 7 system so no means to verify the fix.

Could be the firefox 4.0b8 itself, but when I attempted this, the cursor
changed in firefox main body, bookmarks and menus only. The cursor did
not change on the desktop, panels, or other applications. I don't think

kde-l10n-de fails. Manual investigation shows:
