For the codec detection problem part, seems to happen with lossless wma
files. But maybe it should be better to fix the "codec asking loop"
which should apply to people which haven't universe enabled (because
they don't want) or don't want to install some non-free codecs it may
propose to install.
I filed bug 537273 about the fact that this isn't mentioned on the
manpage.

After playing around with some of the easier themes (Simple-Generic) and
modifying it a little in regard to the x- and ythickness values I can
indeed confirm that these cause the border around the desktop.

I have recently found out that due to excessive files the syncdaemon is
still busy reading the metadata at this stage. So the applet crashes
while the data is still being read. Data being that much the syncdaemon

Ahaaa, I've found out what caused the problem in my case. My muttrc
contained a non-existent mailbox in my list of mailboxes. Removing this

I had to change machines (we thought it was defective but t was a bug in
Ubuntu, apparently still there) and have not ried the wjeather report
again (after all, it was not working).

ctk_actor_set_default_direction does change clutk's behaviour. I think it is
responsible for changing the layout of buttons and other widgets.
Anyway, I changed the gtk call to that because I noticed
ctk_actor_set_default_direction was used in main, so I thought the code would
be more consistent

If this patch will be pushed it is necessary also to notify the l10n
mailing list, since the translatable strings will change, and we should
be in UI freeze.
Is it possible to have an estimate on when this bug will be fixed? (or if it
will be fixed at all)

With the updates received today (2010-03-11), I cannot login to my net banking
account in firefox.
Server website confirmed as working on other machines.
When I type in username and password and hit enter, the browser contacts
the remote server

not sure this is firefox problem, but it occurred 4 times and always in
firefox. screen goes black, I can't switch to different tty. after pressing
"Power" button, notebook shuts down after approx. 1 minute - seems like after
gnome 60s countdow

So far it seems option driver doesn't kick in when it should. Launched
manually modem works, so I guess there is a problem with kernel and
option driver and propably udev.

If I was the only translator I would have probably done that but since there
are many lousy translators the Hebrew interface is still not intuitive
enough for my needs (for the average user there's absolutely no problems)
