2.6.21. I suppose we need someone to use git-bisect to track down the
patch (or ask Thomas Gleixner...) in order to get a fix for Dapper.

It can't be fixed. Windows is in a mess which can be fixed only by
itself. Mounting the drive is intentionally denied because it would be
highly unsafe and could result full data loss. What I think nobody would

trackerd should be started by gnome-session so should only be started if
you are logged into gnome
likewise strigi should only be started if you log into kde. If you run
kde apps from gnome (or vice versa) then hopefully they wont start each
others indexers?

it seem that is not only a strigi problem.It happens and with
gdeb,kpackage.They canot see the right name of the folders and canot read some
deb file that exist in these folder.The message i take from kpackage is this

On my system the Ubuntu 7.10 live cd crashes at loading. 7.04 works fine and
after a dist-upgrade I could launch 7.10 only with kernel 2.6.20.
Launching kernel 2.6.22-12 always end to that error :

I can confirm this but it isn't so bad until wine apps like UltraVNC are
used. Even if it is activated on every click between the window it
flickers.

When I log in an Ubuntu Feisty box from a remote host (running OpenBSD
4.1) using XDMCP, some sounds can be heard at the OpenBSD machine and
some others (most of them) can be heard at the Ubuntu. I suppose it is a
bug in Ubuntu Feisty because if I log in a Debian Etch machine
Sorry for mistake, I've added Polish (default) layout and I still cannot
enter polish letters.
