This has nothing to do with hibernation! That's a whole 'nuther issue.
Suspend retains enough processor awareness to refresh memory and respond
to interrupts while hibernation dumps everything to disk and shuts down.

nothing, but it uses most of the CPU and its memory footprint keeps
rising. I suspect this is a memory leak bug.
The file is included in openoffice.org-common, is the package installed
properly? What is the file /usr/lib/openoffice/program/sofficerc saying?

I just got the latest Dapper (PPC) network update and twice saw a
similar message as the update was being applied (see attached log).
I was surprised to see the problem in gtodo as it didn't obviously
appear to be part of the update. Further evidence:

Another interesting observation: if I create a new user and run gnome-
art as that user, it works fine (that is, it behaves just as it does on
the machine where it doesn't segfault).

I'm able to reproduce this using slow's instruction.
$ cd /tmp
$ nautilus .
$ wget
