I have seen the same behavior in 6.06 running on an Athlon XP 3200+ (not
AMD64) and the NVIDIA drivers. I have not found any logs or files with
any traceback or other information on this error.

I got kde running with help from the forum (try searching for 'breezy
upgrade or something, I can;t find the link). However, my wireless
connection (wpa encryption/dell) is still not working. I'll stick to windows
now till I find the courage and time to fix it :-(

It will be good to improve "open with ... " function in gnome. I have
many applications and it is difficulty to me to find app in "open with
..." window. I think that all of apps should be grouped like application
menu does: games, audio & video, internet, others and so on...
I'm getting the same bug as well. Judging from this report, the 6.06
fix to #39062 didn't fix this.

I've added an entry to my sudoers file to allow me to call e.g. synaptic
without a password (I've added it after the %admin entry):

The problem is if I call "sudo synaptic" it doesn't work because of an unset
XAUTHORITY.
I'm I the only one who has problems with 1.5.05 on Dapper? I can't open
"Preferences" anymore, "Extensions" give me an "XML Parsing Error" and
when opening a file (e.g. pdf) my mailcap isn't read anymore.

I also compiled the same version as used in dapper from the tomboy
original source and had not the problems anymore. I think the bug must
be in the dapper branch of the code, but I am not a programmer and
didn't know how big the difference between the original source and the
dapper version is.
