I changed to the dapper release because with breezy it was not possible
to start X after the upgrade and it seemed that a bugfix has not been
coming soon.. So I don't know how breezy works with a Matrox G200 or
G450 graphic card now.

I guess in my case the error was caused because of the lack of an ext2/3
partition; normally I make a seperate /boot partition (type ext3) with
all other partitions being xfs (or swap). which I forgot.

One can enable "automatically save changes to session", but never revert that
the same easy way. Its broken, i feel like its underscored with "low

Should probably be retested with gtk 2.10. From its release notes:
