dependancies I needed and found that ia32-libs was one of them. ia32libs

I've been having the same problem as well ever since the Beta came out.
The system locks up and it won't do anything. The AGPMode comment that

Perhaps, but if I removed mozilla-firefox altogether, and reinstalled
firefox (with the official package)
just to inform everybody that this problem still exists with a fresh
install of dapper final.

Can you right-click on the desktop and get the menu? Also, have you
tried removing and readding the panel menu plugin?
If that doesn't work, can you take a look at ~/.config/xfce4/menu.xml?
If it's there, try moving it elsewhere or renaming it. That will revert

I went back to my system and deleted (moved actually) the intel_agp.ko
file from
/lib/modules/2.6.15-23-686/kernel/drivers/char/agp
I also added "radeon" to /etc/modules

I changed my access point from channel 12 and down to 6.
Then iwlist scan did show my access point, my computer connected, and did got
an ip adr. through dhcp...

Launchpad doesn't seem to have voting ability like Bugzilla, so I will

I didn't understand why the icon changed, the other one was clear and

Well, if the work gets done, then I'll accept this. I haven't heard a
thing from any developers about any fix that might happen. Can you
update us on this?

The mailscanner init script does not create the requirred var/run/sympa
directory although it detects that the directory is missing.
As this directory is wiped out on reboot (located on a tmpfs),

The beagle search interface (beagle-search) can create thumbnails of
html files and visited webpages using gnome-web-photo if it is
installed. Because gnome-web-photo is already packaged in dapper, it
would be an easy addition.

After upgrading from breezy to dapper, my firefox (in KDE) has begun to
be quite unstable. It freezes very easily (often, but not only, when I
switch desktop) and it has to be killed in order to be shut down.

Yup, this bug was reported against dapper. I don't have the time to play
anymore games with this. If the ubuntu developers don't care about the
quality of their work than neither do I. Dapper-deleted!

Can you try if you still have this problem in Dapper 6.06 LTS after
applying the patch suggested in bug #34112.
Test packages with the patch applied (amd64 and i386, and source) can be
