Just because someone likes to know what the update entails does not mean
they would discard the convenience of having an update notification. To
get back to my setting... how about having a setting which app is to be
used? i.e. you'd always have the notification but based on the setting
either muon
My reasoning was that people who cared about the package name for things
like applications would probably be running the Muon Package Manager to
manually run updates anyway.
