Just because someone likes to know what the update entails does not mean
they would discard the convenience of having an update notification. To
get back to my setting... how about having a setting which app is to be
used? i.e. you'd always have the notification but based on the setting
either muon or -updater would be started to conduct the update. That way
you'd also avoid getting into a philosophical discussion about where to
draw the line of having tech details accessible as it is all right there
in muon anyway.
