I can confirm that I am also getting the same error as captainron042,
with an SSL connection to smtp.att.yahoo.com, and the problem only
started recently.
I am wondering what port Evolution uses to send mail with an SSL
connection. AT&T says to use port 465, and Evolution may be using port
25. A
I am getting the same error as Michael above. I've had the e-mail
account set up for 4 months now, and I just started getting these errors
a few weeks ago. I have to keep opening the messege and clicking send
again over an over until it finally takes it.

In my case the complete "Evolution Error" box reads "Mail from command
failed: Requested action not taken: mail box name not allowed." Settings
for pop and smtp have been double checked as being correct and as
required by ISP.

Observe how there is no bounding box around this error dialog that
Nautilus creates when I attempt to unmount a volume that I don't have
rights to. No other Gnome app I've seen creates the bounding box
visible in the previous attachment.
