Install of 11.10 crashes -
Brian - sorry, my misunderstanding about the status fields. I want to
change this to closed but I can't see that as an option. I wiped and
reset the partition and did a fresh install of 11.10 from a LiveCD.
Although 11.10 with 3.0.0.15-generic loads and works well, it does
usually crash on start u
Why exactly did you set this back to Confirmed? Examining the contents
of UbiquitySyslog.txt attached to this bug report you can see hundreds
of these lines:

seems that there is a problem with the disk to which you are trying to
