This bug doesn't affect me, as it was a user problem, that causes the
kernel panic. For reasons unknown so far Unity will kernel panic when
booted with an SD card inserted, with the SD card removed the system

I can confirm that this bug exists in kernel version 3.2.0-030200rc6
-generic-pae from Ubuntu Mainline builds. I'm using my MSI Wind U100
(Intel Atom N270, Intel 945 chipset) to test this.
Works great using kernel version 3.1.5-030105-generic-pae.

I've installed each new kernel as it's become availabe up to the present
3.2.0-6 None of them work, they all crash about 30 seconds after the
login screen is shown with a kernel panic. See attached screen shot. Of
course the Live Alpha won't boot either.

Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? It
will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Refer to
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . If possible, please test
the latest v3.2-rcN kernel (Not a kernel in the daily directory). Once
you've tested
Any kernel after 3.1.0-2 causes a panic approx 30-40 secs after booting.
It does this on three ASUS B202 nettop computers using Live Alpha 1 or
on an installed system.
