I installed it this morning, and added intel_iommu=off as suggested in
the Phoronix post:

It looked like it worked, as my system ran for about 15 minutes without
panicking, but as soon as I inserted a usb wireless device it crashed
almost immediately. On a subsequent restart, the system panicked within
a couple of minutes of loading the desktop.

Changed to confirmed again.
