Thanks for the reply @madbiologist ,
I have ran totem through the 11.10 live cd (today's download build), and
installed Totem with the MP3 codecs... same issue. More information
though. The issue appears to be when Totem does not have focus and the
sidebar closed. Once focus was given to totem the
@psoup - Ubuntu 11.10 "Oneiric Ocelot" alpha 2 has been released. Are
you able to try with the LiveCD ?

Application Title Bar does not Up
Hi, I am doing nothing special. I have a directory of MP3 and play them.
Without touching the main window.
I am reluctant to install a distro that is slated for release in more
than 3 months for a slight bug like this. The potential issues to come
with a beta version of an OS is great.

Thanks for the report, that is working fine in Oneiric, tried a m3u
playlist and the title gets updated correctly. Are you using any special
format or files? Could you try on Oneiric? Thanks in davance.
