I have the same problem here as well with my MX5000 set. I have to unplug and replug the USB bluetooth dongle (BT 2.0 EDR) when KDM or GDM start. If I boot into the recovery mode terminal, the keyboard works and I can start KDM/GDM from there with no problems. I have not tried removing bluez yet

Had the same problem with my Logitech MX 5000. See Bug Report 67312. Only way to get the keyboard & mouse to work is by booting into recovery, start up Adept & remove the bluez packages. You won't have any bluetooth conductivity but your MX 5000 will work. -- bluetooth problem with mx5000 https
