Hi,
Not sure if there has been any updates, but I had no error messages this
time, although I usually use Synaptic, I assume I would still have seen the
error?

For me, the repo was showing 3.x, not 4.x. I think that is the problem
especially if it comes from third-party repos as they get shut off during
dist-upgrades. Otherwise, the trunk is not being updated with 4.x

Yes my upgrade to 11.04 completed successfully, however, everything to do
with Samba4 returns "Exiting with error code 1". I tried re-installing, but
to no avail. Since then, I have used completely removed Samba4, and

Yes it did. Seems the repository did not have all the Samba4 files and y.x
was conflicting. I uninstalled Samba comoletely and it works fine.
Now, to figure out what happened with Samba.
