restart, ( and some other improvements

Sorry for the extra noise , took me a few to narrow down
clicking outside of dash to dismiss causes this to start only when clicking on
an open window, clicking on the desktop is ok

Just to clarify - this behavior starts after opening dash but not using, ie.
dismissing by clicking outside of dash lens (when dash isn't maximized
Dismissing by re-clicking the bfb icon does not cause this to start
So in a way represents improper? user action
