Actually much easier now (here that is. though again not always, sometimes 
takes a few attempts
Using a fresh iso of yesterday - updated

Ex. - mode 1 (autohide
Open dash (home button), launcher exposes
Pick any app shortcut, open an app from the 'installed' list (not frequently 
used
app opens, launcher stays exposed

If that happens then it's possible that any other windows that are
opened can open under the 'stuck' launcher

To free up (hide) launcher clicking twice on home button usually  does
so ( open ,close dash

Ex  - mode 1
Open a unmaxed window, larger than dash (firefox is good
click home button, launcher exposes, dash opens
dismiss dash by clicking on exposed ares of firefox, dash should close, 
launcher should stay, then same as above.

I'm sure the other modes may have issues - if above can be seen by you then 
will ck. 
(i see this on 2 separate machines
