Since I stopped using this mobile phone I did not check whether this bug
got removed in Ubuntu 7.04 and 7.10.
Today I have checked with Ubuntu 7.04 and 7.10 Live CD and confirm that
the bug does not exist in both versions.
I don't think it is necessary to check the development release of Ubuntu

Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be
reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the
