Since I stopped using this mobile phone I did not check whether this bug got removed in Ubuntu 7.04 and 7.10.
Today I have checked with Ubuntu 7.04 and 7.10 Live CD and confirm that the bug does not exist in both versions. I don't think it is necessary to check the development release of Ubuntu 8.04. I have an internet connection with 400 MB monthly limit and could not download large iso files. I generally wait for shipit CDs arrival for new versions of Ubuntu. But if you feel that I should check this iso for this particular bug could you please introduce any tester who is from New Delhi India to me so that I can obtain the CD from him/her.
