I've found a sollution for this problem. Just replace in /etc/fstab the UUID's with the correct ones (you can get them by executing sudo vol_id -u /dev/[your-drive-name]) -OR- if thant won't help, you can replace in /etc/fstab UUID=... with /dev /[your-drive-name] good luck! Stijn -- / not sh

I tried to replicate this for posterity. The time I had seen this was on a developers workstations after a dapper to edgy upgrade. I was not able to replicate it with these steps. It's really a moot point though, as edgy is no longer supported. sudo ubuntu-vm-builder kvm dapper # update /etc/fsta
