Ok, that's a nice feature of the web package search - I always use apt-
cache search instead, so if the binary name is listed under "Provides"
then it shows up, otherwise...

Nagios-plugins works, but the package provided doesn't include the
check_snmp command which is referenced in the documentation. You have to
download the source to get it.

Is the installation of nagios-plugins package acceptable as workaround or fix?
It seems that icinga configuration files were properly modified to understand
the location of nagios plugins.
But in general I confirm that some of the features won't work until
manual configuration is performed. Links
