Is the installation of nagios-plugins package acceptable as workaround or fix?
It seems that icinga configuration files were properly modified to understand
the location of nagios plugins.

But in general I confirm that some of the features won't work until
manual configuration is performed. Links to docs don't work - links
point to the htdocs root while the documentation isn't installed.
There's the symlink in the /usr/share/doc/icinga named html but it
points to the non'existent location since there's no icinga-doc package
installed (this should be checked in installation script). Moreover,
links created to both DE and EN versions of docs without respect to
locale settings.
