yeah, you wrongly kept netbook-launcher on upgrade which shouldn't happen. For the other bug reports, look at the "unity" project on launchpad, there is one about having that on 2 or 3 lines. Marking as fix released then. ** Changed in: unity-place-applications (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete

OK, installed from a freshly downloaded and burnt (to CD) ISO of 10.10 Netbook Remix. On restart, all icons and words look good. After running updates, all is still well. Not sure what happened, but something must have become hosed in the updates arena because the interface looks much different
