Hi Mark. Great to "see you" I think this is the first time I've seen your post.....anyway, onward to business.
I used UNetBootin and created the installer on a USB disk from the 10.04 CD I requested. HOWEVER, I ended up re-installing with a scratch install using entire disk option from CD a few days later because I ended up, as usual in my curiosity, messing with something and wacked the install somehow. Then, I upgraded to 10.10 via normal means. The system did tell me that it must do a partial upgrade but I don't see any further updates. I can wipe the system and try again if you want.
